Store Guides UK Shopify guides for UK sellers

Affiliate disclosure

How this site makes money

Store Guides UK is funded through the Shopify affiliate program. Some links on this site — the header button, links inside guides, and the highlighted signup cards — carry a referral identifier. If you open a Shopify store after following one of them, Shopify pays this site a commission. You pay nothing extra: the price of your Shopify plan is the same whether you arrive through our link or type shopify.com yourself.

What that buys, and what it does not

Commissions pay for the time it takes to research, write and keep these guides current. They do not buy conclusions. The site’s editorial rules are fixed: platform facts are cited to Shopify’s own documentation with the date they were checked, costs are written out in full — plan, processing fees, apps, theme, shipping — and when Shopify is not the right tool for a reader’s situation, the guide says so. No guide on this site promises revenue.

How you can tell

Every article that contains affiliate links carries a disclosure before the first one, and every signup card is labelled as an affiliate link. Shopify links use the rel="sponsored" attribute so search engines see the relationship too.

Independence

This is an independent educational site. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Shopify Inc. Shopify does not review, approve or commission our articles, and has no say in what they conclude. Shopify is the only affiliate program this site participates in — there are no other sponsored relationships, no paid placements and no sponsored posts.
