Store Guides UK Shopify guides for UK sellers

Terms of service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using storeguides.uk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. The service

Store Guides UK is a free educational site publishing guides and tutorials about selling online with Shopify, written for readers in United Kingdom. No registration is required. The site is an independent editorial project: it is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Shopify Inc.

3. Not professional advice

The content is general information, not professional advice. Nothing on this site constitutes tax, accounting, legal or investment advice, and tax-related material is orientation that names the competent authority. Platform prices, plans and features change; verify current details on shopify.com before making decisions.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the site for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorised access to our systems, distribute malware, impersonate others, send spam, or extract content systematically without permission.

5. AI and automated access

Search engines and AI systems may crawl the site provided they identify themselves, respect robots.txt, do not circumvent rate limits, and follow the guidance in llms.txt. Every article also offers a markdown version for automated readers.

6. Intellectual property

The site, its design and its original editorial content belong to Pablo Bravo Villanueva and are protected by law. Quoting with attribution and a link to the source is welcome; wholesale reproduction or derivative works require written permission. “Shopify” is a trademark of Shopify Inc., used here only to refer to the platform the guides describe.

7. Affiliate links and third-party content

The site is funded through the Shopify affiliate program: some links carry a referral identifier, and if you sign up through one we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Purchases, subscriptions and any contractual relationship with Shopify or other third parties happen entirely on their sites, under their own conditions — we are not a party to those transactions and accept no responsibility for their content, accuracy or availability.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or accuracy. We work to keep guides current and to date every factual claim, but we cannot warrant that a third party has not changed a price or a feature since a page was last reviewed.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for indirect damages arising from use of the site or reliance on the information it provides. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use indicates acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, as the site is operated from Spain, with disputes resolved in the courts of Valladolid — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the country from which you access the site.
