Store Guides UK Shopify guides for UK sellers

About us

Store Guides UK is an independent editorial project publishing Shopify guides for merchants in the United Kingdom. The goal is simple: that you can open your store with the three hard parts already understood — what it really costs in pounds, how the money and the VAT obligations flow, and how the parcel reaches your customer.

Most guides online are written for every country at once. Here the UK is the frame: Shopify Payments as it works for UK merchants, HMRC named as the authority on anything tax-shaped, and Royal Mail, Evri and the couriers small stores actually ship with.

For platform facts we cite Shopify's own documentation and pricing pages, with the date each figure was checked. We never invent pricing, never promise revenue, and never present VAT notes as professional advice — where a figure could not be verified, the guide says so plainly.
